Calculate your due date with our calculator. Remember, however, that only about 5 percent. babies are born exactly on the predicted date. Childbirth can be up to two or three weeks before or after your due date. The calculation of the due date should therefore be considered as an approximate due date.
Calculate your due date - use the calculator
Just select the date of the last menstruation in the calculator and the average length of the cycle, and you will calculate the due date.
How do I calculate your due date?
Due date indicated by the doctor
The most precise information on the expected date of delivery is provided by the future mother by the doctor during the ultrasound examination performed between the 11th and 14th week of pregnancy. During the examination, the gynecologist measures the CRL, i.e. the distance between the top of the child's head and the bottom, and by entering these data into a special computer program, he or she sets the due date.
Due date calculated with the calculator
In contrast, calculating the due date with the help of a calculator is based on the assumption that fertilization occurred most probably within 2 weeks from the time of the last menstruation. Therefore, always assume a margin of error of 2 weeks.
Another assumption when calculating your due date is that your pregnancy lasts a "prescribed" 40 weeks (from the date of your last period) and that your cycle length is between 21 and 35 days. The use of the calculator, in addition to determining the approximate date of delivery, also allows you to determine the age of the fetus, and thus - get to know information about its development in a given week of pregnancy.
