  • fainting

Circulatory collapse may be preceded by warning symptoms, such as:

  • dizziness
  • shortness of breath
  • chest pain
  • feeling cold
  • feeling anxious or panic
  • pins and needles in the fingers
  • nausea and vomiting

Circulatory collapse - first aid

1. If the person is conscious, put him / her in a chair, give him coffee or tea and call an ambulance. 2. If the collapsed person is unconscious then:

  • call an ambulance as soon as possible
  • place the patient in a horizontal position (you cannot even place a pillow under their head), with slightly raised legs
  • it may be helpful to put sobering s alts or perfumes under the patient's nose, the smell of which may revive

4. In the event of vomiting, the victim should be placed in the side position to prevent choking. 5.If the patient is unconscious and not breathing, perform CPR.
