Due to the coronavirus and restrictions on both human movement and production, we may soon be short of goods. As it turns out, they are endangered, among others condoms! Why?

Coronavirus will have a significant impact on the economy. In Poland, it is already visible that some companies suspend their activities, others decide to close. Many people are on compulsory holidays, schools, kindergartens and nurseries do not work, so parents do not work (or work remotely if possible) and are on care allowances.

However, not only Poland has such problems. Karex is located in Malaysia, which is responsible for 20 percent. global production of condoms. Due to bans on the movement of the population in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, half of the company's staff work. Three factories have already been closed, reducing production by 100 million units.

And the Karex company supplied products that we bought here in Europe under the name Durex. Goh Miah Kiat, president of Karex, warns condom shortages could take months.

The British daily "The Guardian" draws attention to this - are we waiting for shortages in stores? Will access to contraception be difficult? Time will tell for sure. If the pandemic is not contained, we may all find ourselves in a difficult situation. Therefore, it is better to follow the government's recommendations and stay at home.
