Registration for vaccination: how to do it?

The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister announced thatOn January 15, 2022, the registration process of universal vaccination is to begin . On this day, thecentral IT systemwill be launched, thanks to which it will be possible to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccination. So how to make an appointment?There are four possibilities:

  1. via the toll-free 989,
  2. via SMS,
  3. via the Patient's Online Account (available at patient.gov.pl),
  4. in he alth care points or vaccination points.

Registration for vaccination: waiting for e-referral

The National Vaccination Program will be based on invitations from the so-callede-referrals valid for 60 days from the date of issue . Thesedocuments are to be automatically generatedin the system according to the vaccination sequence. Individuals who do not have a PESEL number or those who could not be vaccinated during the validity period of the first e-referral can apply for an individual e-referral.

The procedure for signing up for vaccination is as follows:

  1. After receiving the e-referral, we report to be vaccinated against COVID-19. You will not need to enter the document number. Only personal data is sufficient.
  2. When the registration is successful, we have to wait forSMS with information about the selected place and date of vaccination.As a reminder, the SMS will be sent again the day before the visit to the vaccination point.
  3. We will arrange two visits immediately. Similarly, we will receive an SMS notification to appear at the second vaccination.

There are no special recommendationsregarding preparation for vaccinations.
