However, if we do not have a spare hook with us (we do not take such an additional accessory for everyday city driving), you will have to unscrew the derailleur hanger, shorten the chain and change the bike to single speed. Spoke damage

Breakdown of the brakes can be very dangerous, especially when two of them break simultaneously. So it's worth checking their efficiency before each ride. It is best to accelerate the bike to a low speed and check their operation. If you find that they are not very effective, you will most likely need to tighten the brake cable. We'll have more trouble if the line breaks off. After all, we rarely carry a spare with us. In this case, you will also have to take the bike directly to the repair shop.
