Although the two disciplines have a lot in common, pole dance is trained primarily to improve physical fitness. Pole Dance can be practiced by all women who are looking for non-standard ways to slim their figure and strengthen their muscles. If traditional aerobics and strength exercises are too monotonous for you, Pole dance can hit the spot. You don't need to be fit or have a model figure to start training. It is the exercises that will make you gain strength, fitness and get rid of extra pounds.

The first steps in learning pole dancing are to learn some simple exercises to strengthen, tone and stretch your body.Beginning dancers learn basic tricks, turns and simple figures. The first stage of learning is also getting used to the new form of training and gradually gaining body awareness.

As they progress, the dancers go into more and more difficult evolutions - they learn to move between figures, combine previously known tricks into longer sets and move with grace. Exercise requires more strength and coordination. The next steps in the training are learning to dance on a rotating tube and developing advanced choreographic arrangements with elements of acrobatics.

Pole dance - why is it worth exercising on the pole?

Pole Dance is a great way to get a slim, modeled figure. During the training, all the muscles of the body work - starting from the wrists, through the shoulders, arms, abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, calves, ending with the feet. Keeping on the pole without ground contact requires good balance and coordination. In addition, the exercises are performed barefoot, which perfectly shapes the leg muscles and gives the thighs and buttocks a slim, firm look.
