A month ago, a dermatologist prescribed me the antibiotic Unidox. I took it for a week because I have Lyme disease (there was erythema). However, two weeks ago, I found out I was pregnant and immediately put the medicine off, fearing it would endanger my baby. Already this year I lost two pregnancies. Now I don't know if I did the right thing, because I've read that untreated Lyme disease is dangerous for a child. Should I contact a dermatologist or a gynecologist first? I don't know what to do at all. I'm afraid I meant well and I did it very badly.
