The spine works non-stop, there is never any holiday leave and therefore requires special treatment not only on holidays, but also on a daily basis. To avoid back pain, try not to overload them, avoid stillness and be careful with what shoes you wear.

The spinemust serve us for many years. We often forget it and don't care for it properly. We wear uncomfortable high-heeled shoes, assume an incorrect position while watching TV or working at the computer, slouch . We don't have to wait long for the effects of our thoughtlessness. One day we discover with surprise that every movement causes a stabbingback pain . And so little would be enough.

Our tips for avoiding back pain:

1. Avoid standing still and change the position of your body as often as possible so as not to overload your spine unilaterally. After an hour of sitting (e.g. at work), get up and walk around the room. When you stand for a long time - try to lie down for a while.

2. Wear shoes with not too high heels (2-3 cm) on a daily basis. It's good when shoes have a thicker, flexible sole that absorbs shocks generated while walking. Do not buy shoes that are too big - then you have to hold them with your fingers and the gait becomes less fluid and the spine is additionally stressed.

3. If you live in a block of flats, give up the elevator from time to time and go up the stairs.

4. When carrying your groceries, distribute the weight of the nets evenly between your hands.

5. As you walk, pull in your stomach and clench your buttocks. Their muscles also support the spine. Check the display windows to see if you are slouching.

6. If you have not trained regularly so far, do not take on big challenges, e.g. in the gym. The muscles must gradually get used to the effort. Better go for a walk (marching) or swimming (and swim as much as possible on your back).

7. Do not support the telephone receiver with your shoulder during a conversation.

8. When sitting on a couch or armchair, do not stretch your legs out in front of you. This forces the back to take an unnatural position.

9. When you are on a vacation by the water, don't let jumping "head" come to mind. Such performances often end with very serious spine injuries.
