You have stage fright before the performance - reach for a drop. You lack self-confidence - apply larch extract. Dr. Bach's flower essences help restore emotional balance. What is Dr. Bach?

If your dog panics after New Year's shots, you can apply Rescue Remedy - a composition of fiveessencesused in emergencies, e.g. under high stress, during a panic attack or in post-traumatic shock. It sounds a bit fantastic, but… it works. Flowertherapy by dr. Bachis a method known and used in the world for many years, and Rescue Remedy is even a mandatory equipment for English ambulances.

Dr. Bach: flower essences

It started in the early 1930s in England. Dr. Edward Bach, a British physician (bacteriologist, homeopath), came to the conclusion that most diseases are caused by certain emotional states of a person. The views of dr. Bach agreed with the holistic approach to man, which is becoming more and more popular today, according to which one should treat not the disease itself, but its source, arising in the patient's mind.
While searching for the perfect medicine to help restore the body's balance, he noticed thatflowersof some plants have such properties. Fascinated by their healing power, he developed a method of making extracts. He treated his patients with them. He soon departed from conventional medicine and devoted himself to flower therapy.

The power of the sun and flowers used in the therapy of Dr. Bach

The name "flower therapy" is associated with aromatherapy, but has nothing to do with it. In Bach's therapy, one heals not with a fragrance, but with a flower essence diluted with water and alcohol (or with water only). Dr. Bach distinguished 38 extracts, each of which affects a different state of the psyche.
The method of obtaining them is as mysterious as therapy and differs from traditional methods used in homeopathy. It involves placing freshly picked, ripe flowers in a glass bowl of water and exposing them to the sun. Flowers give their energy to the water. Therefore, not the plant's extract is used in treatment, but its energy potential contained in water. Dr. Bach called his method "solar". He also developed a "thermal method" for plant flowers that mature in early spring whenthe sun is not yet strong (flowers are soaked in water and put on fire).
- All this sounds a bit like "witchcraft", but it works, although we don't know how! - says psychologist Tatiana Ostaszewska-Mosak, who has been supporting her work with patients for four years with Bach therapy.

Dr. Bach - a remedy for emotions

Ms. Tatiana graduated from the Bach Igor Pietkiewicz Therapy Center in Krakow, which was the first in Poland to use this method 15 years ago.
- I took the course out of curiosity, but at first I was very skeptical. Until now, every time I offer a patient drops, I wonder if it makes sense, he honestly admits. - And every time I am surprised when it turns out that something has changed in this man's life. Essences do not solve anything by themselves, but they make it easier to deal with emotions. It's as if someone suddenly sheds a strong light on the problem at hand. The essence allows you to mysteriously focus on it. After a while, the problem gets smaller or resolved, although apparently nothing has changed. And the fact that this is not a self-suggestion or a placebo effect is evidenced, for example, by the fact that it works on children and animals.

Four drops of courage

By restoring emotional balance, Bach therapy supports traditional treatment of somatic diseases. It improves the patient's motivation for treatment, restores hope, and activates the natural mental powers. It is also helpful in psychological therapy and psychiatric treatment. It reduces tension and improves concentration. It is used to strengthen work on changing life attitudes, and even in the treatment of obesity. The drops work on moods and deep-seated habits. However, for them to work, it is necessary to make a correct diagnosis.
- People can't always recognize their mental state properly. Therefore, it is good to consult a therapist who will help you choose the right essences - explains Ms Tatiana. - If someone needs only ad hoc help in alleviating a specific emotion, when, for example, he or she lacks self-confidence or energy to act, then usually one visit or even a consultation via the Internet is enough. However, when the patient wants to make more serious changes in his life, then it is better to undergo a longer therapy. I use different essences on myself. For example, if I have stage fright before a public speaking, I take four drops of a drop. What happens then? The symptoms of stress do not go away, but fear does not paralyze me, I do not back down as I used to.

Important

All extracts are made at Dr. Bach in Mount Vernon, England. In Poland you can do thembuy in the online store or in centers that provide flower therapy. The essences are used individually or in a mixture (you can order a mixture of up to seven extracts).

For uncertainty - stokłosa

The effects of the extracts can be seen quickly when the patient suffers from anxiety, but the most mysterious essence is the horticulture (wild oats). When you are not sure about the chosen path in life, you do not know what decision to make in an important matter, you can reach for a hundredth. - This plant is like a pilot showing the way - says Mrs. Tatiana.
The essences can be used by anyone, regardless of age. However, therapy requires discipline. The drops should be taken at least four times a day, four times a day, for about 2 weeks. If not taken regularly, they will not work. Therapists assure that the more drops are needed, the easier we remember about them and the faster the results can be seen. And they are sometimes really amazing.
Flower essences do not cause sudden healings, but they do trigger changes that can improve your quality of life. Many people say that after Bach's drops, they approach difficult situations with greater distance and make decisions that previously exceeded their abilities. And all of this happens in a fairly short time.
