Hello, my boyfriend has genital warts around the anus, he is undergoing treatment (laser therapy). I wanted to ask what I can do to avoid catching this virus, and if I am already discouraged, what can I do to fight it and avoid unpleasant symptoms? Please reply, thank you
Good morning! Probably your boyfriend is a carrier of HPV. The most important thing is whether the virus is oncogenic and can cause cervical cancer - types 16 and 18. In order to avoid unpleasant consequences of infection, please regularly perform cytology and take care of your own immunity - eating vegetables and fruit, supplementing with vitamin D3. Please remember that despite the absence of symptoms, you are a carrier of the virus for the rest of your life. Regards
