Female 49 years old. Yesterday, during a routine gynecological examination, the doctor stated that I had a uterine myoma 9 / 7cm, endometrium 5. I am regularly constantly. I do not have any symptoms related to this that the doctor asked about, i.e. heavy bleeding or pressure on the bladder. The doctor said that only the operation was left and that I was to report for a checkup in three months with a decision. I don't want surgery, I'm terribly afraid. Esmya suggested the drug, I'm ready to take it. What to do? Can it only be removed surgically? Can you leave it for observation?
Uterine fibroids are benign lesions. The indications for surgical removal are symptoms; the ailments they cause, their size and rapid increase. You should talk to your doctor about Esmyia and find out what the benefits of this medicine will be for you.
If you have no complaints, it is probably little or even none. However, I don't know everything about you. I can only write in general terms. Any doubts regarding the surgical treatment and the scope of the surgery should be clarified with the attending physician. If you explain them all, it will be easier to make a decision.
