Anal hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids, hemorrhoidal disease) develop when lumps around the anus become inflamed. Then they fill with blood excessively, are stretched, and do not empty of blood before defecation. This may be associated with pain or slight rectal bleeding. A visit to a doctor is necessary to rule out more serious conditions, such as a perianal abscess or fistulas or an anal fissure.

Anal hemorrhoids, diet and exercise

Haemorrhoids require treatment, but before the therapy is effective, you should go on a diet that regulates the functioning of the intestines, prevents constipation, which is rich in fiber (whole grain bread, cereals, vegetables and fruits). At the same time, drink about 2 liters of fluid a day. Regular exercise is also just as important. A dozen or so minutes of exercise is enough, as long as every day, for the intestines to work well.

Good to know: A diet rich in FIBER will help with constipation

On an ad hoc basis, you can use ointments and suppositories. If the area of the anus is very irritated, it is better to use the ointment, if the symptoms are not severe - suppositories.
