For several years I have had a problem with recurrent pains in the right epididymis. I was at the doctor - said fibrosis. He prescribed ketofen and told to go home. Sometimes for 2 weeks nothing hurts me, and sometimes for three days I get such a contracture. The semen examination came out as well. Something is probably wrong, because my wife and I have been trying for a child for two years …
Pain in one of the epididymides may be related to its inflammation. This condition develops and may persistently recur in congenital abnormalities of the ejaculatory ducts in the spermatic area and in congenital or acquired abnormalities of the posterior urethra (stenosis, urethral valves). Inflammation, in turn, damages the sperm in the semen. Symptomatic treatment, when the cause of the symptoms and complaints is left untreated, does not improve. It is advisable to perform not only semen examination, but also ultrasound of the testes and epididymides (additional information confirming the presence of varicocele), examination of the urethral flow, and changing habits related to fluid supply.
