- Night pollutions - how often do they occur?
Nocturnal ejaculations are involuntary ejaculations of semen that appear in boys in adolescence and may continue until old age. Find out if nocturnal blemishes are preventable, how often they occur, and find out what actually causes male nocturnal blemishes.
Night pollutionsappear regardless of the man's will - after all, they happen to men during sleep, so it is difficult for them to be controlled. Usuallynight blemishesare a considerable cause of embarrassment and discomfort - waking up with wet underwear is not a pleasant experience. Boys in adolescence are especially worried about nocturnal glades - this is also when they appear for the first time. It is worth noting, however, that nocturnal blotches in men of all ages are a natural phenomenon and should not raise concerns about their he alth. However, this was not always the case. In ancient Greece it was argued that polution could lead to wasting of the body, and attempts were later to prove the link between "wet dreams" and neurasthenia.
Night policemen: why do they appear?
Nocturnal reflections can be called the body's natural reaction to sexual tension, the way it is released. In adolescence (the beginning of which in boys falls on the age of 13-14), the sex glands that have not yet produced sperm start to work intensively. All by starting the production of hormones that activate these glands - this activity in men never stops, they can produce sperm even as old men. The average adult male therefore produces both sperm and sperm endlessly - the latter are produced in a second as many as 3000. However, if a person does not have sex too often and does not masturbate, the produced sperm must find another way out - hence the nocturnal intake . They also occur, albeit to a lesser degree, in men who frequently have sex or masturbate.
Night pollutions: when do they occur?
Nocturnal reflections occur during sleep, and more specifically in the REM phase - the brain is then extremely active, dreams appear, orgasm and ejaculation occur. It is worth adding that these dreams can also be erotic in nature, but such dreams are not a necessary conditionthe onset of ejaculation. It also happens that uncontrolled ejaculation occurs while awake - right after waking up, when the man wakes up as a result of it.
Night and morning erections
Men experience not only nocturnal eruptions, but also often wake up with morning erections. It is also a natural state, characteristic of male representatives. There are several theories explaining the causes of morning erections, the most common being decreased levels of norepinephrine in REM sleep, pressure on the bladder and the release of nitric oxide causing erection.
With age, morning erections do not lose their frequency, but are less strong and shorter.
Nocturnal influences in adults and teenagers
Another question asked frequently by gentlemen about nocturnal voids is the age at which they appear: teenagers are worried about the mere fact of their occurrence, and adult men are worried about the fact that they still have to deal with them.
Alfred Kinsey, "father of the sexual revolution" and one of the most famous scientists dealing with human sexuality, creator of the report "Male Sexual Behavior"1from 1948 devoted part of his work to policing nighttime. His research showed that as many as 83% of American men had experienced night spots during their lives, it also turned out that the matter with "wet dreams" differs in terms of … where a given man comes from - e.g. in Indonesia, there were as many as 97 % of young adults - people under 24.
Night pollutions - how often do they occur?
The frequency of the occurrence of night glacials depends, among others, on from the age of the man. From the above-mentioned Kinsey report, we can read that nocturnal reflections occurred twice as often in 15-year-olds (0.36 times a week) than in 40-year-olds (0.18 times a week). The second factor influencing the frequency of nocturnal bleeding is male sexual activity. Boys are more likely to suffer from nocturnal blotches because young teens are not usually having sex yet, but husbands have less "wet dreams". In his report, Kinsey presented data on 19-year-old married men who had a nocturnal downtime coefficient of 0.23 times a day, and in married 50-year-olds - 0.15 times a day. A similar rule applies to masturbation - the man "gets rid" of part of the ejaculate in this way, so he is less likely to deal with nocturnal reflections. Genes and diet also affect the amount of blotches.
There is no rule as to how many reflections should appear. Some men may only experience them 1-2 times a month ornot even at all, others even twice a week. The only cause for concern may be the more frequent occurrence of nocturnal bleeding in adult men than the above-mentioned 2 times a week, especially if they also experience nausea, headaches, vomiting. In this case, it is worth contacting a urologist as it may indicate problems with sperm production and hormone levels. However, such a frequency in a teenager should not be disturbing.
Worth knowingNight orgasms in women
The issue of nocturnal orgasms in women was also investigated by Kinsey in the 1953 report "Female Sexual Behavior". 40% of his interviewees admitted having experienced several night orgasms in a year. Usually, this concerned people between 13 and 21 years of age. In turn, Barbara L. Wells from Brown University published an article2in the "Journal of Sex Research", which showed that 85% of women she tested also experienced an orgasm while sleeping.
