How many calories do groats have?

The least caloric among groats is cooked bulgur - 83 kcal per 100 g. Right behind it is semolina - about 88, roasted buckwheat with 92 kcal, and then pearl - cooked contains 123 kcal in 100 grams of the product (according to USDA FoodData Central).

How many calories does flour have?

The very popular wheat flour ranks among the calorific value of this type of products in the middle - it contains 347 kcal, this type of flour also has a high glycemic index - 90. In turn, the flour krupczatka flour in 100 grams has 354 kcal, and Poznań flour - 343 kcal . Wheat flour in terms of the number of kilocalories is much higher than soy flour, having 424 of them (but a low glycemic index - only 25). Buckwheat flour is the least calorific - 335 kcal.

How many calories does rice have?

Given the number of calories, those contained in differenttypes of rice are similar. White rice contains 344 kcal and brown rice - 322. On the other hand, brown rice has a glycemic index of 50, and white rice - 70, so dark rice is definitely recommended for people who are slimming.
