How to dress for the gym? For a physically active person, clothing is important because it increases comfort during exercise. However, if you are just starting your adventure, don't worry - first get to know your body and preferences, and then buy the clothes and shoes you need. However, you must have one thing - it's a sports bra.

This is the basis - the bra supports the breasts and prevents them from stretching during training. Remember that there are no muscles in the breasts - there are only strands of connective tissue and skin that will begin to stretch. Clothes for the gym - T-shirt
Which T-shirt do you feel the best in? Do you prefer a looser t-shirt or a short top that reveals the stomach? A good T-shirt for the gym must allow freedom of movement - too short it will move up, and too large it will float when jumping. If you are not exercising intensively, it can be made of cotton, which allows the skin to breathe. For intensive training, choose thermoactive clothing that does not absorb water and dries quickly.
Clothes for the gym - leggings
Plain cotton leggings won't work. You will probably boil them, and additionally - they can shine through. Remember not to buy too small pants and hope you will lose weight. Before this happens, pants that are too small can discourage you from exercising - they compress, rub, and even burn you.
The best for training are leggings (long, 7/8 or 3/4) that fit snugly against the body and make you feel like a second skin. Leggings must also be thermoactive.

Clothes for the gym - shoes
Shoes are a very important purchase especially for people who plan to exercise regularly. Badly chosen footwear can cause us to get injured or joint pain. Let's start by not choosing one shoe for all types of exercise.
The running shoes are only for running (possibly for training, but this is only a temporary solution). You can exercise in running shoes, but you cannot run in exercise shoes.
We are talking about this because many people choose a shoe to wear in the gym, run and do aerobic exercise, which can lead to injuries.
Gym shoes (also for fitness shoes) must be:
- with good grip of the sole so that the shoe does not slip;
- stable - the sole should be a bit harder and less flexible than in running shoes;
- flat!
- the back of the shoe should be at the height of the ankle;
- light and made of breathable materials to prevent the foot from boiling during exercise.
