White strawberries came to Europe from South America, which saved them from complete extinction. Albino strawberries have a white skin and red seeds, they are smaller than the strawberries we know and taste like pineapples.

White strawberriesare called pineberry from "pineapple" - anasas and "strawberry" - strawberry. They were brought to Poland from the Netherlands, but they came to Europe from South America. They were very popular in Latin American countries, but due to changes in the natural environment, they are practically extinct today. In 2003, Dutch gardeners became interested in them and decided to start growing white strawberries. In the Old Continent, the premiere of pineberry took place in Great Britain, and the sweet pineapple fruit was met with great interest.

  • Unripe pineberries are green, ripe fruits are white in color with red grains.
  • Pineberries are smaller than regular strawberries.
  • Stems of individual plants reach a height of several centimeters.
  • Plants are resistant, so you can grow them without additional spraying, and their seedlings are already available for purchase in Poland.
