Burns can be a reaction of the skin to overheating, drying out, tight and windproof shoes, poorly rinsed powder underwear and tight plastic clothing worn in the heat.

Chafing on feet

Burns on buttocks

On hot days, young mothers should be especially careful, because babies' skin is easily irritated. Neglect in care will end in no time - painful and difficult to heal burns.

What to do? When chafing occurs, the baby's bottom must be carefully washed with a mild soap and warm water. Then dry with a towel or a clean cloth diaper. Now spread with anti-rash cream for children, linomag or cover with talcum powder (also for children).

In emergency situations, you can use a bit of potato flour for this purpose. On warm days, before putting on a diaper or diaper again, it is good to leave the baby bare for half an hour to let the skin dry well.

Chafing in groin

Skin damage threatens people who are immobilized in bed, who rarely change diapers or liners, and who suffer from urinary incontinence. The groin, skin folds, sacrum area and inner thighs are chafing. Seniors quickly develop bedsores, i.e. deep wounds.

What to do? A bath in a weak chamomile solution gives relief. Reddened skin should be washed with a sensitive skin soap. Painfuldry the places with a towel or a hair dryer and apply anti-rash cream for adults.

If there is no talcum powder, you can powder the skin with potato flour. On dry skin, it does not form lumps that cause irritation.

Chafing under the armpits

Obese people are prone to chafing. They sweat excessively, so they should take good care of the body, wear cotton, airy clothes. For ladies, the best are panties with a leg (cotton or milanezh) that protect the inside of the thighs. The best cotton boxer shorts for men.

What to do? When you chafe your armpits or groin, take a long bath in lukewarm water. Add bubble bath or potassium permanganate. After 20 minutes, dry your body thoroughly and gently.

Brush the spots with vitamin E, calendula or comfrey ointment. In the morning, prophylactically rub a thin layer of anti-chafing cream into the armpits and groin. Change your underwear frequently.
