For the last 3 days I have a paralyzed left part of my face. I cannot close my eyelid, move my eyebrow, etc. When eating or drinking, I cannot move the left side of my face. Could it be due to some kind of disease of the trigeminal nerve? And if not, what could it be caused by and what kind of doctor can you go to?
I suggest contacting a neurologist or ENT specialist. The description suggests Bell's palsy, or peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve. At this point, the most important thing is to plug the eyelids overnight to avoid damaging the cornea. Treatment is pharmacological (drugs) and physical therapy is widely used. However, it takes several weeks to recover.
