Can running (interval training) be done right after abdominal exercises or do I have to wait?

It depends on your training goal and level of advancement. If your goal is to strengthen the abdominal muscles, because you are getting ready to start in short or long-distance runs, then it is very important to activate the muscles stabilizing the pelvis and hip joints at the beginning of the training. You can then do exercises to strengthen the abdominal muscles, mainly oblique muscles, and the transverse muscle. This is mainly done using isometric or dynamic exercises on unstable ground. After such preparation, you can go into the field and without worrying about back injuries and pain in the lumbar part of the spine. After such training, you can end up with a few strength-building exercises for your abdominal muscles or plan your abdominal exercises for the next day. If the goal is to lose a few pounds, then a planned training to strengthen the abdominal muscles is performed at the beginning, followed by a moderate-intensity interval training or a steady one. After such training, stretching is essential and this element ends the training session.
Among the exercisers there are supporters of pre-running training and supporters of abdominal exercises after training. It's best to try both methods and then you can decide which one you feel better after. Remember that running itself is an intense abdominal training, so if you feel severe pain after running, let go of the strengthening of this day. Abdominal muscles, like any other, need time to regenerate, so listen carefully to your body and try to read the signals it is sending you.
