The causes of yawning have not yet been fully investigated. However, this most likely has to do with temperature regulation. As the ventilator works, too warm blood is removed from the brain and cooler is brought in from the lungs. This way the brain cools down. Body temperature rises during exercise, and you may experience yawning. To some extent, this may also be related to oxygen demand and blood pressure regulation. Yawning can increase your heart rate by up to 30 percent. Yawning is normal in the presence of asthma and low blood pressure. In this case, you should train under the supervision of a doctor, who should determine the type, duration and intensity of exercise for a given disease.
