The efficiency of the muscles, nerves and ligaments located in the perineum determine the tightness of the bladder, proper erection in men and orgasm in women, the condition of the spine, and even digestion. The pelvic floor muscles should be strong and springy, as this is where the internal organs rest.
Strongpelvic floorwill also make you feel light and confident. The best example of the effectiveness of the method we present is its author, Benita Cantieni.
She had a distorted spine since she was a child and suffered severe pain every day. Over time, this led to major degenerative changes in the hip joint, and any treatment methods did not help for a long time. She was already a mature woman when a doctor friend persuaded her topelvic floor muscle training . And the pains with which she had been struggling for 43 years suddenly subsided almost overnight.

But there were more benefits. Some of them have been documented by reliable research at the University of Zurich: the strength of the sphincters increased, the urethra became longer and narrower, the bladder and uterus rose more than a centimeter - as if the organs in the lower abdomen were undergoing intensive rejuvenating treatment. The well-being and awareness of one's own body improved.
Delighted by these results, Benita Cantieni developed her original pelvic floor training program Cantienica® Pelvic Floor Training. Her Swiss school is visited by physical therapists and fitness instructors from all over the world.
The effectiveness of the method is indisputable, both in the case of women and men. In some countries, such as France, the state he alth service organizes free classes where patients exercise the muscles located in thecrotchunder the supervision of an instructor. Pregnant and postpartum women take part in them because a strong pelvic floor protects them from serious problems. Each birth carries the risk of urinary incontinence or the separation of straight abdominal muscles.
ImportantPerineal exercises better than Viagra
The Benita Cantieni method is also great for men. Pelvic floor training and conscious use firstly protects the prostate gland. When the muscles of the perineum are weakened, the gland is compressed by the lowering internal organs. There is also a second huge benefit - an increase in potency and zeroerection problems.
This was proved in 2002 by the German urologist Frank Sommer. He examined the effectiveness of Viagra and pelvic floor exercises in a group of 120 men with ED. In the perineum training group, the results were significantly better than in the group taking the blue pill.
Why train the pelvic floor muscles?
When our ancestor stood on two legs, his center of gravity changed. The internal organs no longer hang from the abdominal hammock like they do in quadrupeds. They are supported by the abdominal wall, but from the bottom they rest on the muscles that closepelvic floor . Therefore, they should be strong and resilient. And that's what they are like in our youth.
As we age, when the abdominal wall becomes flaccid, our bowels, succumbing to gravity, sag and press against the pelvic floor. The overloaded muscles of the perineum become ineffective. And that's when the trouble starts.
Placed in the lower abdomen, urinary bladder, uterus, vagina begin to lower. Frequent cystitis and urinary incontinence are the first signs, as is the disappearance of sexual sensations (in men and women). Then there may be serious gynecological and … digestive complications - because a weak bottom means weak abdominal muscles and deterioration of the intestines.
Begins to tease the spine, because weakened muscles of the perineum promote deformation of the hip joints, and the hip belt affects the condition of all vertebrae. Our appearance is also losing - the stomach, buttocks and thighs go limp. Blood and lymph in the lower parts of the body circulate more slowly, which leads to swelling, widening of the veins and, consequently, varicose veins. The so-called breeches - fatty tissue, often with cellulite.

Exercises for the pelvic floor muscles will give a feeling of greater freedom of movement
Therefore, it is worth spending some time on the pelvic floor being resilient and strong. This is what the training developed by Benita Cantieni is for. The respect for the body with which we meet in this method (during training you have to focus, sink into your own feelings), makes you feel the joy of moving.
The body is finally fit, and not tired of soreness, overtraining and damaged ligamentsas after exercising in the gym.
Pelvic floor training affects the whole body
Do not confuse this method with Kegel exercises. As a reminder: they involve squeezing and relaxing the muscles surrounding the vagina and is recommended for preventing urinary incontinence. Pelvic floor training activates the deep muscles and has a major impact on the entire body.
The first stage - realizing the existence of the pelvic floor and controlling its movements is already behind you. Now learn to use these muscles every day: when climbing stairs, sitting down and standing up, lifting weights, even using the clutch and accelerator pedals in the car. All of these activities are much easier when the pelvic floor is active.
Sit on the edge of the chair, back straight, head elevated, feet hip-width apart, heels, and big toe joints firmly against the floor. The first exercise is to make you aware of where the sciatic tumors are - the two bone spurs at the base of your buttocks. In the Cantienica® method - Pelvic Floor Training, they are of strategic importance - if you learn to move them, you will be able to consciously exercise the muscles hidden in the lower abdomen.
Do you think it's impossible to feel the sciatic bumps, much less bring them closer together or make a circle with them? Run your imagination. See these movements in your head, think the sciatic bumps are moving as you please.
Note: exercise without shoes to maintain good ground contact.
