Kutia is a Christmas Eve dish, which is most often prepared on the basis of wheat, although some people prepare it without wheat, e.g. on the basis of millet. Kutia is worth recommending not only as a traditional Polish dish, but also because it contains an extremely beneficial composition of vitamins and minerals. Kutiais a word of Ukrainian origin. It has two meanings: firstly, it is a Christmas Eve supper, and secondly - a dish specially prepared for this celebration, made of wheat, poppy seeds and honey.
