The liver is an irreplaceable organ, so it is worth supporting its work with a proper diet. A good dish for the liver is buckwheat groats with chicken, carrots and peas. Find out how to make them.

Ingredients:

  • Dry buckwheat - 5 tablespoons
  • Chicken, skinless breast meat - 160 g
  • Leek - ½ art
  • Carrots with peas, frozen - 1 cup
  • Vegetable broth - 1 ½ (375 ml)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • S alt, black pepper, dried thyme
  • Chives - 1 tablespoon
  • Walnuts - 18 g

Preparation method:

  1. Wash the meat, dry it and dice it. Then fry them in a hot skillet with fat and set aside.
  2. Time to wash and chop.
  3. Fry the leeks in a hot frying pan. Then add the dry grits and fry for a while.
  4. Pour equal parts of the hot broth to the groats and heat them up, stirring constantly. Set the highest flame or the power of the burner so that the groats simultaneously absorb the broth and its excess evaporates. When the porridge has absorbed the first batch of liquid, add the next one.
  5. As soon as you pour half of the liquid, add the carrots with peas and spices. Continue adding the broth until the groats have absorbed all the liquid.
  6. Before the end of stewing, add the meat to the groats.
  7. Put the finished dish on a plate and sprinkle with nuts and chopped chives.
