Many myths have arisen around electric bikes. You can often find opinions that they work like a scooter and move on their own. Another misconception is the belief that they were created only with the elderly in mind. However, there are many arguments that give popular e-bikes an advantage over traditional bikes.

The endless string of cars, nervousness and stress are part of everyday commuting in big cities. One idea to speed up the snail's pace is the bicycle. E-bike to be exact, i.e. its electric version.

How does e-bike work?

E-bike is an electric bike equipped with a 250W electric motor. It helps to reach and maintain a maximum speed of 25 km / h. You do not need any additional permissions to run it. The engine only starts when you start pedaling. The degree of support can be adjusted by selecting the appropriate driving mode. Everything resembles the shift of gears known from traditional bicycles. If we turn off the engine, we can use the vehicle in the same way as with traditional "two wheels".

The electric bike can be charged from a normal electric socket, just like any mobile phone or computer. If the battery runs out while driving, simply pedaling to continue driving. When riding a bicycle, we can use any route, avoid traffic jam cars, use the bicycle path, and in justified cases, even the sidewalk. Also, we don't have to worry about a parking space. The bike can be attached to a road sign or lamppost. In addition, the parking space does not involve any additional costs.

E-bike "faster" than the car

In big cities, the bicycle turns out to be a faster means of transport than the car. Of course, the car always wins over long distances. However, when we have a short distance to ride, the bike is unrivaled. Especially if we decide on an e-bike. Engine assistance saves energy. So it's one of the most comfortable ways to get to work.

The ecological aspect must not be forgotten either. The number of poisonous substances in the air is reduced to a minimum if we replace the car with an e-bike.

E-bike for he alth

- Another issue that he solvesan electric bicycle is a he alth restriction. Often, as a result of various injuries and diseases, we have a problem with riding a traditional bicycle. Climbing and beautiful routes are beyond our reach, because we do not have the physical strength that would allow us to reach them. In such a situation, electric bikes simply help to level the chances, and thanks to the fact that they retain all the best he alth-promoting features of traditional bikes, they facilitate a return to physical fitness - says Krzysztof Kłosowski, KROSS expert.

Accelerating an e-bike requires pedaling, so it forces you to move. For people who work primarily at a desk, it is a great way to get in better shape. The unquestionable advantage of electric bikes is their versatility. They can be used in both casual and sports outfits. Not to mention the fact that cycling in itself is relaxing and puts you in a good mood.
