Bicycle route around the Kampinos Forest

Mysterious swamps, picturesque villages, old oaks, lots of forest animals and even mountains! It's hard to believe that the Kampinos National Park is so close to Warsaw. There are as many as 200 km of trails designed for cyclists, and 360 km of hiking trails are also allowed for cycling.

The park is surrounded by a green bicycle trail. You can set off, for example, from parking lots near the village of Palmiry, in Granica, near the clearing in Lipków or in Brochów from the church. On the route we will encounter an open-air museum in Granica, little-known, secluded Białe Śladowskie Mountains, a manor house in Tułowice, a church in Brochów, as well as the Fryderyk Chopin museum in Żelazowa Wola, where you must walk around the park and listen to music coming from the loudspeakers. In the forest, we have a good chance of meeting an elk, a wild boar or a roe deer, since recently even wolves have lived here.

The route covers the following towns: Palmiry - Małocice - Leoncin - Piaski Królewskie - Tułowice - Brochów - Żelazowa Wola - Kampinos - Granica - Leszno - Zaborów - Lipków - Laski - Dziekanów Leśny - Palmiry.

The Vistula bicycle route from Białołęka to Nowy Dwór

This is an interesting, surprising route that allows you to get to know Warsaw from the prettier side. We can start with the Copernicus Science Center and the Warsaw Mermaid and from there we move north.

Before you set off, it is worth visiting the Warsaw Old Town. From Mariensztat, we follow Grodzka zback to the Vistula, passing under Wisłostrada. The comfortable route continues along the boulevards. When we cross the North Bridge, we go to Picassa Street and enter the Vistula embankment. We set off towards Jabłonna. It is worth venturing into the forest between the river and the embankment for a while! In the areas between Tarchomin and Jabłonna, this area deserves to be called the Masovian Amazon, and the views of the river are unforgettable. In Jabłonna, be sure to see the palace and the vast park full of mysterious ruins. There is a restaurant in the palace and grocery stores in Jabłonna. We can move further along the embankment towards Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, and the most persistent ones to the Modlin Fortress itself.

Plan of the cycle route along the Vistula: Copernicus Science Center - Citadel - Grota Bridge - Bielański Forest - North Bridge - Tarchomin - Nowodwory - Jabłonna.
