TRX training , orexercises with suspension straps , was invented by a former American Navy SEALS commando who was looking for an optimal training method for soldiers stationed at military bases around the world. The set of belts developed by him was so light, handy and durable that it allowed to perform many variants of strength exercises even in the most difficult conditions. Over time, TRX tapes have started to be used by professional athletes, trainers and ordinary fitness enthusiasts who are looking for an effective alternative to expensive equipment available only in gyms.
TRX tapes - what are they and how to use them?
The only tool needed for TRX training are special Y-shaped tapes made of extremely durable and light polymer. The belts are easy to transport, which allows you to train even while traveling or on vacation. They can be hung in any place in closed rooms and outdoors - e.g. on a yard beater. One end of the straps is attached to a stable point, while the other two lines with special grips are held in the hands or the feet are hooked on them, supporting them with the hands on the ground.
For training, it is best to use original TRX straps, sold in a set with additional elements, e.g. a handle for hanging straps on the door, an extension strap, a transport bag. A cheaper solution is to buy only tapes with handles or to make the device yourself using, for example, a climbing rope or transport tapes.
TRX training - what is it?
In TRX training the muscles work by overcoming the force of gravity and carrying the weight of the exercising person.
This allows for their even development without overloading the joints and the spine, which is not possible in the case of exercises on complex machines from the gym. When exercising with TRX, many muscle groups workat the same time, including the deep muscles responsible for the correct posture and stabilization of the figure. TRX effectively improves strength, endurance, balance, and protects the locomotor system against injuries and excessive overload.
TRX training - for whom is it recommended?
TRX training is recommended to everyone, regardless of their level of training. Thanks to suspension exercises, women can slim down and tone their figure, while men can sculpt any part of the muscles, e.g. a radiator on the stomach. The difficulty of the exercises can be easily controlled by changing the angle of the body to the ground. The training has about 300 variants, which makes it an interesting variety to the routine exercises performed with the use of equipment.
