If you are bored with regular yoga, try PiYo, a combination of Pilates and yoga. This is the original program of the American trainer Chalene Johnson, who created a training adapted to everyone, regardless of age or level of physical activity. Watch the video how PiYo is practiced.

The training, which is a combination of yoga, pilates and cardio exercises, consists of dynamically performed elements of strength, endurance and stretching. Exercise strengthens the muscles of the entire body and increases their flexibility. It is one of the few software that does not require hardware.

The training is divided into 60 days with a break for one day of rest a week, and divided into 7 thematic blocks that intertwine during the program. Thanks to this, the muscles have time to regenerate, and the training is always interesting.

The first PiYo exercise block contains the basics and shows the correct execution of the most important items that will appear during the two months of the program.

The next blocks are to strengthen the lower and upper parts of the body. Then there are cardio exercises. Smooth but dynamic yoga movements are used at a moderately fast pace combined with strength-increasing exercises.

The next block is a 25-minute set of interval exercises that wonderfully sculpt the body. This is followed by endurance training, which accelerates fat burning by engaging every muscle. The last one is modeling training.

Benefits of PiYo training

Instead of exercising repeatedly and holding positions for a long time, PiYo introduces dynamic sequences so that it is not monotonous. It burns adipose tissue, shapes and firms the body, while reducing stress and minimizing pain caused by high-intensity exercise.

At a low level of intensity, the muscles stretch and strengthen, while a moderately fast and smooth pace not only slims the figure, but also burns a lot of calories.
