When I lie down, my nose is blocked (in an upright position it is open) - I have trouble breathing while sleeping. I suppose it might be the result of a curvature of the septum from a childhood trauma. Can this problem be solved operationally? Or maybe the reason is different - is there any research that will prove it?
The problem of nasal congestion may result from a curvature of the nasal septum, but also from the presence of chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa or sinuses of various etiologies. He suggests visiting an ENT specialist who, after the examination, will suggest possible additional tests and determine the course of further treatment.
