Ingredients:
- 15 kg of apples
- specialist yeast
- nutrient solution for yeast
Execution
The production of cider itself is not problematic. The most important thing is to choose the right apples. The best cider is obtained by choosing 40% sour apples and 60% sweet apples. Cut the apples (do not peel them) and squeeze their juice in a juicer. Pour the apple juice into the balloon in which wine is traditionally produced, add the multiplied yeast and nutrient solution. Fermentation should take place at a temperature of 20-24 degrees Celsius. After about two weeks, when the drink stops working, pour it off the juice sediment and leave it in a cool place for 2-3 weeks. After this time, pour the cider into the bottles. It does not need to mature anymore. The drink is ready to be drunk!
Sparkling cider recipe
Prepare apples and juice in the same way as for regular cider. We ferment the juice through7-10 days at a temperature of about 24 degrees Celsius. Then we pour it into bottles. Half-liter beer bottles will be best. We add a teaspoon of sugar to each of them. We cap the bottles and leave them for 3-5 days in a warm place (temperature approx. 24 degrees Celsius). The sugar reacts with yeast and turns into delicate bubbles. Place the bottles in a cool place for another 3 weeks. After this time, the pleasantly sparkling cider is ready!
Remember!Cider tastes best when chilled.
