How do you know if your gut is trapped?

Where there is a hernia, the abdomen was soft and now you can feel a hard and painful lump with your hand. The skin above it is red and very warm. After a few hours, you feel flatulence, sharp abdominal pain, nausea, and sometimes vomiting. It is also not possible to pass gas and stool. This is proof that the bowel is blocked - you need to call an ambulance.

Do not drink carbonated drinks, follow a light diet to get rid of excess pounds. 1-2 months after the surgery, start exercising to strengthen your abdominal muscles. Men who have had an inguinal hernia should not wear boxer briefs. You need classic, not too loose briefs that will support the genitals well. Ladies after abdominal hernia surgery should wear lightly tightening underwear for 2-3 months to make the scar less visible. It will also help to stabilize the mesh that strengthens the abdominal wall.
