I am 16 years old and for almost a year I have been suffering from an illness that does not go away. It is because every time I leave home or I'm at school, I have a problem with diarrhea. I did the tests recommended by the doctors and the results came out good, so I don't know why I have it.

Since the ailments appear only in the described situations and medical examinations did not indicate any cause, it can be assumed that they are a symptom of some psychological problem. Two hypotheses can be put forward: they are either related to leaving home or - to coming to school. In no way our correspondence will lead to a solution to this problem. A visit to a psychologist is necessary. Unfortunately, you are not yet of age, so it will be difficult for you to enroll in a psychologist at a mental he alth clinic, so I advise you to speak to a school psychologist. It seems to me that it is not worth delaying it, because unresolved psychological problems usually tend to get bigger.

Remember that our expert's answer is informative and will not replace a visit to the doctor.
