However, regardless of the sport in which it is used, it can cause side effects that are dangerous for the body because it is a toxic substance. Many bodybuilders also use it to so-called "beat" the gained mass, because it is a steroid that perfectly sculpts the body. Winstrol is a derivative of DHT (dihydrotestosterone). DHT is a metabolite of testosterone - the most famous anabolic hormone that supports the synthesis of muscle proteins and stimulates muscle development. The higher the level of testosterone in the body, the higher the level of DHT. According to some researchers, DHT has no effect on the muscles and is only responsible for the negative effects of testosterone - seborrhea, alopecia and prostate enlargement.

The entire treatment should not be used for more than 4-6 weeks.

Winstrol, taken in high doses, is toxic. The symptoms of intoxication of the organism include:

  • allergic reactions: difficulty breathing, swelling of the mucous membranes of the throat, lips, tongue and even face
  • swelling of the arms or legs (especially ankles)
  • men experience frequent erections or breast enlargement
  • hoarse voice
  • hair loss
  • menstrual disorders
  • appearance or worsening of acne symptoms
  • insomnia
  • headaches
  • "dry" joints

Winstrol is low androgenic, but women may experience side effects such as enhancing secondary male characteristics.

Winstrol during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Winstrol contributes to birth defects in the fetus, therefore you should not take the drug if you are pregnant or may become pregnant while taking the drug. It has not been investigated whether stanozolol is excreted in human milk.
