Celery syrup - recipe

Celery syrup is made from celery. It can be done in two ways.

Recipe No. 1:Ingredients:

  • large celery
  • sugar

Preparation

  1. peel the fresh celery and cut it into not too thick slices (it is important that the vegetable inside is not dried out)
  2. put the slices in a bowl, sprinkling each of them with sugar
  3. set aside for a few hours (preferably overnight) until the vegetable comes out of juice

Recipe No. 2

Ingredients:

  • large celery
  • honey or sugar

Preparation:

  1. wash the celery, cut the tip (about 1/3 of its height). Don't peel
  2. hollow the flesh in such a way that a large hole is formed
  3. pour honey or sugar into it
  4. cover with the cut-off top part
  5. Let the celery let go of the juice for a few hours

Celery syrup can be consumed similarly to onion syrup - a teaspoonful several times a day. You have to keep it in a cool place - it is stable for two or three days, then you have to make a new one.
