Hello. I am 17 years old. I haven't had my period for about 3 months now. Four months ago I cut back on my food a bit. I haven't counted the calories I eat. I ate anywhere from 1000-1500 kcal per day. One day I ate more the other less. Within a month, I lost 4 kg. With an increase of 167, my weight dropped to 50 kg. Then I started eating more. To this day, I try to eat moderately so as not to gain weight. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I do not eat sweets, fast food, etc. I am very concerned that I am not having my period. What could I do to get him back? I had a similar situation 2 years ago. Only then was my diet very drastic. I hardly ate anything. Within a few or several days I lost 6 kg. I haven't had my period for 4 months. My period came back after the Duphaston pills that my gynecologist prescribed. I have half a packet of these pills left and am considering taking them. Can they harm me in some way? I don't want to go to the gynecologist again because I don't want to inform my parents about my situation. Is it possible to go to a doctor without a legal guardian, if you are under 18? Please reply. Thank you very much in advance.

The gynecologist may examine the minor in the presence of her legal guardian. You should not take any medications yourself, let alone hormones, without medical supervision. However, you should do some additional tests if you are still missing your period.
