Such questions seem silly, but we perceive everything differently when it begins to involve ourselves. I had sex with my partner on December 29-31, we used a condom and I think we didn't make any mistakes … I would like to add that on December 29th it was my first time, during the night I had a little bleeding (a few drops of fresh blood) and a small amount brownish filamentous content (membrane remnants?). There was no pain, everything stopped in the morning. I should get the period on 2.01, but this is not the case until today on 5.01. 1.01 - I felt terrible, as before my period: swollen body, pain in the sacral area of the spine, weakness, but there was no bleeding and the symptoms receded. Now I am mainly stressed that something did not go as planned. What is a reasonable time to do a pregnancy test? They say that the day after the expected menstruation, but in my case, fertilization occurred too shortly before it, and the chorionic gonadotropin will not be produced in time in a quantity commensurate with the sensitivity of the test. In turn, fertilization should not take place in this phase of the cycle, I have regular periods: 1.11, 2.12 … I hope that the body does not cooperate with the wishes of the mind due to the stress I get into, recently I also traveled around Poland a bit - these are quite sensible excuses … If the situation persists for the next few days, would you advise me to go to the gynecologist or start with home tests - when to do them so that the result is reliable? Thanks in advance for your time.
It's best to have ablood testfor HCG two weeks after intercourse, in your case around January fourteenth, if you don't have your period by then. The blood test may already be positive, and this hormone passes into the urine when the level in the blood is sufficiently high, about seven days later than its appearance and build-up in the bloodstream.
