Right question, prompted by fear of death. It's almost the rule of anxiety, especially paroxysmal anxiety: they create worst-case scenarios, but none of them work. There is no way that the breathlessness that accompanies anxiety will result in suffocation. It may cause other unpleasant sensations caused by uncontrolled, violent, fast breathing. Due to the excess of oxygen in the blood, there is often a feeling of noise in the head, dizziness, numbness of the limbs and tingling of the skin. It is also impossible to die from this. There is only one advice: do not ventilate the lungs in such a way, breathe into a foil bag to limit the oxygen supply and increase the supply of carbon dioxide. Regards!
