For several months I have been treated for an overactive thyroid gland, which is now normal. However, I still have anxiety states - I'm afraid that I will get a mental illness and that I may hurt someone close to me. The endocrinologist concluded that anxiety states are related to the thyroid gland. I am taking Cloranxen at a dose of 5 mg per day. I don't know if it's a thyroid or a mental illness?
It is true that an overactive thyroid gland is associated with a greater susceptibility to anxiety, but the two may not be entirely interdependent. Now that the functions of the thyroid gland are balanced and the fears have not subsided - we have to start dealing with these fears. Go to psychotherapy or see a psychiatrist. However, not because of the risk of mental illness, because there is no such thing! It is only fear that dictates such dark scenarios. Just to deal with anxiety. Taking Cloranxen may provide temporary, but less and less relief, and at the same time addiction to this drug will develop. Regards!
