If the doctor recommends taking the drug (Anafranil - by the way, in the minimum dose), he clearly thinks that the mother's depression may harm the child more than the drug she is taking. Anyway, it is already the 6th month of pregnancy, all the baby's organs are already properly developed, and there are no more developmental defects. Before delivery, you should discuss with a psychiatrist and obstetrician how to continue treatment and possible weaning. Regards!
