This plant grows wild in Poland only along the B altic coast and in the Pieniny Mountains, which means that sea buckthorn berries cannot be harvested in these places. They can legally be obtained only from cultivated shrubs.

- 1 kg of sea buckthorn berries
- 1 kg of sugar
- 1.5 liters of alcohol 70%
Recipe for sea buckthorn tincture
- Wash the fruit, drain it well and put it into a jar, add sugar and alcohol.
- Make a tight turn and put in a warm, dark place for6-8 weeks , shake the jar every few days.
- Drain, pour into bottles, leave in a cold place for about half a year.
