The next step is to fill the channels. This requires watchmaking precision. The tooth canals must be perfectly filled to be absolutely tight. Thanks to this, bacteria will not penetrate into the interior of the tooth, especially to its tip. If this work is done carelessly, all the effort will be wasted.

Modern methods of root canal treatment give 90% of certainty that the cured tooth will serve you for many years without any problems. The treatment price ranges from PLN 400 (single-canal tooth) to even PLN 1,200 for a multi-canal tooth.

That is why a special liquid, heated filling is used for this purpose. The so-called gutta-percha - insoluble material, indifferent to tissues and extremely plastic, thanks to which it perfectly fits the irregular surface of the canal. In order to strengthen the features of gutta-percha, it is heated so that it fills the inside of the tooth even more tightly. The mass introduced by the doctor flows into all nooks and crannies, thanks to which you can achieve perfect tightness. After filling the tooth, X-ray should be performed again - it will confirm whether the tooth is leftproperly cured. The dentist's last task is to cover the tooth with a preparation whose color matches the color of other teeth.
