You should contact the National He alth Fund - the branch that directs you to spa treatment.
According to the Principles of confirming referrals for spa treatment in provincial departments of the National He alth Fund (Order of the President of the National He alth Fund No. 4/2010 / DSM of January 15, 2010), it is not possible to change the place of spa treatment.
The fund department confirms referrals taking into account the treatment profile and the possibilities resulting from the referrals purchased. The recipient is en titled to spa treatment or rehabilitation on the basis of a referral issued by a he alth insurance physician. The referral requires confirmation by the provincial branch of the fund competent for the recipient's place of residence, and if the place of residence cannot be determined - the provincial branch of the fund competent for the seat of the service provider who issued the referral.
The provisions of the Code of Administrative Procedure shall not apply to confirmation or refusal to confirm the referral. Thus, it is impossible to challenge the decision of the National He alth Fund as to the choice of one spa place or another. It is also worth emphasizing that the recipient bears the costs of travel to and from the spa treatment / spa rehabilitation and the partial payment for food and accommodation in the spa sanatorium. The entity obliged to finance he alth care services from public funds covers the difference in the costs of food and accommodation of the insured up to the amount specified in the agreement of the provincial branch of the fund with the he alth resort sanatorium.
