The length of the penis is shown by men in the proportions formed by two fingers - the index and ring fingers. The longer the ring finger is than the index finger (i.e., the lower the index to ring length index), the longer the penis of the owner of these fingers. This regularity applies to the right hand only.
South Korean scientists examined 200 men for the difference in finger length versus penis length . The conclusions they drew seemed so interesting that such a prestigious scientific journal as the Asian Journal of Andrology decided to publish the results of their research.
Dependency observationsfingers- penis is not brand new. Already several years ago, other scientists proved that the relationship between the index and ring fingers is related to the action of sex hormones - testosterone and estrogens. So the link to penis size seems to be warranted.
Men with a low index, i.e. those with a ring finger much longer than the index finger, also have more symmetrical facial features and are perceived by women as more attractive.
It looks a bit different in women. The first results show that women have a more variable finger length. In many cases, the index finger is the same length as the ring finger, and is usually longer than the ring finger. And it hardly has any bearing on their sexual temperament.
And that's not all.
Testosterone promotes prostate and other genital diseases
Unfortunately, there are also downsides to these reports. Well, as reported by scientists from the Institute of Cancer Research in Great Britain, men with longer ring fingers are at a higher risk of prostate disease. This risk may be even higher by about 30% compared to men with typical finger-to-finger relationships. And it is absolutely justified: what is beneficial for sex, i.e. high levels of sex hormones, especiallytestosterone , creates a greater risk of genital diseases.
So it may be better to have less penis … Oh, but will there be a man who would prefer to have a smaller penis, even with the prospect of a risk of disease?
The research of our sexologist, professor Zbigniew Izdebski, shows that Polish men have longer and longer penises. Over the course of 10years they have grown, a trifle, almost 5 cm! (of course erect). And the fingers did not change … The professor supposes, however, that it is not about the increase in the hormones that cause such changes, but about the way of measuring masculinity.
