It is the latter drug that is often used to makehomemade drugs . Probably because 1 sachet, i.e. 9.4 g, contains as much as 500 mg of this active substance, which is the most of all drugs that include benzydamine. In addition, the price of the preparation is also attractive - about PLN 2.50 for one sachet.
Benzydamina as a drug
Benzydamine (benzydamine hydrochloride) is a substance belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) with a broad spectrum of activity. It shows fungal, viral and bactericidal properties. It also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, local anesthetic and disinfectant effects. Since there are also numerous excipients in drugs containing benzydamine, amateurs carry out extraction, i.e. the process of extracting benzydamine with water. It is very simple, because the dodamine is in the form of its hydrochloride, which ensures good solubility. Then you get a more powerful intoxicating substance.
How does benzydamine work? Side effects
Benzydaminehas a psychoactive and highly narcotic effect in high doses - about 1 g. After ingestion, it is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, from where it crosses the blood-brain barrier. After 2-4 hours, dopamine is released by the brain's neurons. Then there arebenzydamine overdose symptoms :
- visual and auditory hallucinations
- euphoria and state of bliss
- motor agitation (slowing movements at higher doses)
- increased heart rate
- sensitivity to light
- wide pupils

The effects of benzydamineby releasing large amounts of dopamine can also include the sensation of objects moving, a feeling of lightness (sometimes the sensation of losing a leg, arm), dry mouth and convulsions. This effect can be magnified by combining benzydamine with otherhallucinogenic substancesor with alcohol. After the symptoms have subsided (usually after about 8 hours), you may experience general malaise, weakness, trembling hands and insomnia, but it is almost impossible to fall asleep.
