What do you really want? How to make your dreams come true? Why are you still hanging out with the wrong men? Perhaps you will find the answer by entering a state of deep relaxation, i.e. self-hypnosis.

Self-hypnosisis a state of consciousness characterized by increased concentration. The mind then functions differently than when it is awake and is more susceptible to suggestion. In the state of self-hypnosis, you can influence your own subconsciousness: give orders to recover, ask for inspiration and ask questions.

There are situations whose explanation goes beyond the area of consciousness, e.g. dreams that come true or intuition prompts. How to explain it? - This speaks forunconsciousness- explains Małgorzata Rajchert-Lewandowska, trainer of the Polish Institute of Neurolinguistic Programming in Warsaw, who conducts the course. - Most of us ignore this power and do not use our potential. And yetawareness , that is what is tangible and verifiable, is a small part of our experience. We consciously record 7 units of information per second, and unconsciously - infinity. The enormity of processes in the body and mind take place without our influence! We breathe unconsciously, we dream. The unconscious is the location of an early childhood memory that we do not remember. There we hide the real motivations of our actions, the codes of coping with difficult situations, as well as what we do not accept: rage, aggression, hidden desires and traumas that we have "erased" from our consciousness.

Self-hypnosis: floating thoughts

Reaching the layers of the unconscious withself-hypnosisusually leads to profound changes in life. And it is always a plus, because our unconscious wants only good for us. How to do it? It is enough to enter a state of not too deep trance and contact your own unconscious. Each of us can do it. Even those who have trouble concentrating. Being able to enter trance is a matter of training.

Self-hypnosis: inner strength

In the unconscious, we accumulate "resources" from which we can draw strength, improve he alth and expand our conscious knowledge. During a self-hypnotic trance, we decide whether we refer to our character traits or past experiences to solve the problem. We can also reach for talents, zwe were born with, that is, what is most difficult to define and what each of us has. Therapists call it an inner strength, a sense of power, or a survival instrument. Self-hypnosis is not only useful when we want to solve an emotional problem. It is also an effective tool in the fight against psychosomatic ailments. There is all the power and charm of self-hypnosis that we confide in ourselves and straighten our twisted thoughts. Hard to believe? Yes, but it's worth a try. Who knows better what's good for him than he does?

Benefits of self-hypnosis

Thanks to self-hypnosis, you can achieve your goals more effectively, improve your he alth and life situation. You can find hidden talents that you have not been aware of before. You can heal your fears, improve your self-esteem, disgust yourself with cigarettes and alcohol, make yourself open to others, learn to relax, regenerate and control your emotions. Self-hypnosis is used in the treatment of bulimia, anorexia and phantom pain (it consists in deepening the innate ability to control pain). It is used in the treatment of teeth and even during childbirth. The shallow trance state allows you to experience true relaxation. It can also be used in teaching and selective assimilation of information.

You must do it

Make sure you find a place where nobody and nothing will disturb you. Sit back, calm down, and try to relax. Close your eyes and imagine the feeling of lightness engulfing your body, relieving you of all the tension that limited your freedom. Let this feeling penetrate your breath and with it spread throughout your body. From the head, through the neck, torso, arms, legs up to the feet. Feel your muscles relax. Relaxing music will help you break away from reality.

9 steps to getting into trance

  • 1. Turn on some relaxing music and sit or lie back. Close your eyes or stare into space.
  • 2. Make a decision on how long you will remain in a trance state.
  • 3. Focus on the sounds of the music.
  • 4. Formulate a question to your unconscious. Try to be precise. Ask for an answer.
  • 5. Now take care of awareness. For example, count from 1 to 100 and back, or give your body movement commands (raise your right hand 3 times). You can visualize your dream place: beach, forest, etc.
  • 6. Have paper and crayons handy if you want, and when you come out of or even in a trance, draw or write whatever comes to your mind.
  • 7. Don't analyze your thoughtsduring self-hypnosis. Let them flow freely.
  • 8. If there is no answer, ask about the condition under which the ignorant will want to help you solve the problem. Be open to all the images, thoughts, voices that swirl in your mind. Remember: none of them are random. Maybe they tell you that you need to solve another problem first.
  • 9. Don't worry if you come out of your trance and still don't have an answer. The unconscious has been given a task, and although you are not in control of it, it takes care of it. You will receive a reply in due time!
