The issue of rest is more and more important: we work more and more intensively, so it is worth spending the vacation to gather strength for the next months. Therefore, planning the date and form of vacation determines our condition throughout the year.
Until recently, it was obvious thatvacationmeant two free weeks in the summer, spent by the Polish seaside or in the mountains. Those unfortunate enough to take a vacation in June or September complained loudly about their misfortune. But is a vacation in the middle of summer the best solution?
According to doctors, not necessarily. The wonderful summer weather is a real blessing for our body. We feel great, we have the will to live and work, in the evenings it is bright for a long time, so we have time for outdoor entertainment. If we work hard, it is a pity to waste this time onleisure . A vacation will be much more useful in late autumn or early spring. Lack of sun, bad weather and unfavorable "biomed" make it difficult for us to get up in the morning and go to work. This is the perfect time to break out of the daily treadmill.
Take your vacation when you feel most tired
Perfect would of course bevacationin the sun. However, if it is impossible for some reason, it is worth remembering that a much closer trip can have equally beneficial effects. As long as we organize it properly. This time of year is the perfect moment for active recreation.
Long walks, bicycle trips, visiting interesting places - any change in the current lifestyle and surroundings can have a beneficial effect on our psyche and body. Take care of small pleasures (such as getting up a bit later or celebrating dinners, which we usually don't have time for), but also moderate physical activity in the fresh air. In addition to family commitments (e.g. school children), it is important to consider when your worst performance is. Some people feel very bad in the early spring, tired of the long winter and the lack of daylight, others are depressed by a short winter day and low temperatures, others hate the heat. It is best to take a vacation at such a moment as to alleviate the change in lifestylefatigue , malaise and gain strength fornext months.
When planning a vacation, it is also worth determining its length. You should go away for two weeks at least once a year (it is required by the Labor Code), but the remaining breaks may simply be extended weekends. Sometimes even 2-3 days is enough to regenerate your strength.
There are also more and more offers from travel agencies, hotels and guesthouses, offering weekend trips to improve the condition and well-being. And although it is obvious that we will not eliminate many years of neglect in one weekend, it is sometimes worth feeling the king of life. For the mood, it does it perfectly.
