It's fine after dark and you feel your stomach rumbling … Sounds familiar? There is growing scientific evidence that eating late at night can make weight control difficult. The challenge is figuring out what you can eat to satisfy your hunger and keep you from gaining weight.
A rumbling belly can really get in the way of falling asleep. Fortunately, if you're really hungry, a small, nutrient-rich meal of less than 200 calories shouldn't hurt you. Interestingly, some snacks contain compounds that may help you fall asleep.
