I'm about to start exercising in the gym. I would like to lose about 3 kg. If I lose that much, will I also get thinner in my face? I have a little chubby cheeks. My second question concerns the bust. I really want to slim my thighs and I will do exercises in this area. However, I am afraid that after losing 3 kilos, I will also lose my beautiful breasts. Now my chest circumference is 92 cm. I like my breasts and I wouldn't want to lose it. If I started exercising my chest muscles, would I be able to keep my current circumference? I really care about it.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to lose body fat from selected parts of the body that we care about the most. During weight loss, we evenly lose body fat from the entire surface of the body. It is most visible in places where there is the least of it, for example on the face and around the bust. However, this only happens when we are talking about a significant weight loss - by a few or a dozen kilograms. The bust is made of, among others, adipose tissue and glandular tissue. Fat tissue gives the breast shape and softness. A young breast contains a large amount of glandular tissue and a small amount of adipose tissue, which makes it more plump. The glandular tissue gradually turns into fatty tissue, which is less cohesive. Therefore, over time, the breasts become a bit drooping. Since you are a young person, your weight loss should not affect the shape of your breasts. Since the bust does not contain muscle tissue, exercise does not affect its size. Strengthening the chest muscles only improves their "positioning", because well-shaped muscles provide good support for the breast tissue.
