I really like playing tennis. I started learning the game quite late, at the age of 15. I know I have a talent and a dedication to tennis, but I don't know if it makes any sense at this age? Do I have a chance for success in a professional game?

To appear in professional sport today, you need many years of hard work and you need to have appropriate psychophysical predispositions - which is beyond doubt. There are sports disciplines in which the adventure with hard training work has to be started very early, but there is really no rule, and if there are - then there are also exceptions. The training is characterized by equifinalism, i.e. the possibility of reaching the goal in various ways. There is no golden recipe for success. Each player is different, because each person is different and can react completely differently, even to the same training stimuli. Tennis is a beautiful game, a great activity that can be practiced throughout your life, that gives you a lot of pleasure, fun and he alth. It is worth investing your free time in training. The competition is the best test. Even if you don't get to the top ten in the world ranking, a lot of satisfaction can be obtained from competition and success at local amateur competitions.
