When nature comes to life after winter, we begin to feel the spring solstice. A diet low in vitamins and trace elements makes us feel physically weak and we have problems with concentration. Other symptoms of the spring solstice include lethargy, impaired memory, anemia, dry skin, the formation of unsightly seizures, brittle nails, and hair loss. A proper diet is helpful in alleviating the effects of spring weakness.

Spring solstice diet: what is it?

Diet for spring solsticeshould be rich in zinc-rich fish, lean meat, dairy products, whole grain bread and groats. Don't forget about vegetables and fruits that contain antioxidants that fight free radicals.

Strengthening immunity is favored by vitamins A, C and E:

  • carrot,
  • spinach,
  • broccoli,
  • tomatoes,
  • red pepper,
  • citrus,
  • currants,
  • strawberries (frozen).

Use the window sill to grow parsley and sprouts - preferably from radish, alfalfa, watercress and wheat seeds, which are full of B, A, C and E vitamins and minerals: zinc, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.

Do not give up on small pleasures - by nibbling on pumpkin and sunflower seeds, nuts and dark chocolate, you provide the body with magnesium, which effectively helps to fight stress.

Also eat garlic, which is bactericidal and increases the activity of white blood cells.

Diet for spring solstice: when to use?

Winter is not a good time to lose weight or cleanse the body.Spring cleansing dietwill give you energy and willingness to live, improve your mood and restore skin glow.

Diet for spring solstice: contraindications

Contraindications include :

  • diseases of the circulatory, digestive and urinary systems,
  • pregnancy,
  • breastfeeding period.

It is also better not to follow a cleansing diet, especially a more restrictive one (such as an apple or fruit and vegetable diet), if you are very overworked and exposed to severe stress - then the diet will be an additional burden for the bodyand will weaken it rather than make it stronger. The most sensible thing to do is to follow a cleansing diet in which you will gradually add he althy products to your diet for 10-14 days.

Regardless of whichcleansing treatmentyou choose, give up hard-to-digest products, fast food, stimulants and chemically processed foods.

Diet for spring solstice: types

Varied diet (10-14 days)

For the first 2-3 days, eat vegetables and fruits (raw or cooked) and drink juices freshly squeezed from fruits and vegetables. On the 4th day, use 1/2 liter of kefir, natural yoghurt or buttermilk a day. From the 6th day, you can additionally eat thick groats, wild rice, cereals, bran. On day 8, add lean white cheese (10 grams) to the menu, and on day 10 - a portion of boiled (preferably steamed) or baked fish (20 grams). From day 12, instead of fish, eat lean poultry, e.g. chicken, turkey, or veal (10 grams).

Juice diet (14 days)

Eat lightly digestible meals and drink 0.5-1 liters of freshly squeezed vegetable or fruit juices every day. They can be of one type or mixed, diluted with water or not. The best for juice are apples, citrus, carrots, beets, fresh cucumber, celery, parsley, tomatoes, and cabbage. You can also include sauerkraut juice in your diet.

Fruit and vegetable diet (3 days)

Limit the menu to vegetables and fruits: raw, steamed or in a little water, also vegetable soups in water and silage. The dishes can be seasoned with olive oil, herbs and lemon juice. Drink fresh juices, herbal and fruit teas.

Apple diet (1-2 days)

Eat only apples (raw or baked), but as much as you want. They contain pectins, which sweep the remaining debris out of the gastrointestinal tract, and when baked they improve the functioning of the pancreas and liver. Drink green tea, apple juice, and apple tea.

Lemon diet (7 days)

Eat food that is easily digestible and additionally drink juice between meals, squeezed from 2-3 lemons, diluted with water in any proportion.

Cocktail diet (14 days)

Every day, apart from vegetables, fruit, 10 grams of lean meat (veal, chicken or turkey breasts) and coarse grain products, drink 3 glasses of a cocktail of kefir and fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, raspberries, currants).
